2. Scope

This privacy policy applies to the SetGo Timer application for iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS, published by Midnite Compile GmbH. The app is designed for interval training and workout tracking.

3. Data Processing

SetGo Timer operates entirely on your device. No personal data is transmitted to the developer or any third party. All data processing occurs locally and includes:

• Workout templates and configurations
• Workout session history, duration, and statistics
• App settings and preferences
• In-app purchase status

No tracking identifiers, advertising IDs, or analytics SDKs are used. The app does not contain any third-party analytics, advertising, or social media integrations.

4. Apple Health (HealthKit)

If you grant permission, SetGo Timer can:

• Read heart rate data from Apple Health during workouts
• Save completed workout sessions to Apple Health (including duration and calorie data)

This data is handled entirely through Apple's HealthKit framework. It is stored on your device and managed by Apple's Health app. SetGo Timer does not transmit, store, or process Health data on any external server. You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in your device's Settings under Privacy & Security > Health.

5. Legal Basis

Processing is based on GDPR Article 6(1)(b), as it is necessary for the provision and functionality of the app, and Article 6(1)(f) for ensuring device-level security.

6. Data Retention

All data is stored locally on your device. It persists until you reset it within the app or uninstall the application. No data is retained by the developer.

7. Third-Party Sharing

No personal data is shared with third parties. Apple may receive aggregated, anonymised download and usage statistics through the App Store, but no individual user data is shared by the app itself.

8. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. Since all data is stored locally on your device and no data is held by the developer, you can exercise these rights directly by managing your data within the app or by uninstalling it. 9. Children

SetGo Timer is not directed at children. No data is collected by the developer from any user, regardless of age.

10. Security

SetGo Timer relies on the security mechanisms provided by iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS. We recommend enabling a device passcode and keeping your operating system up to date.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

12. Complaints

If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, Austria, dsb@dsb.gv.at.
